    Question FPS limit questions

Ive been looking for airsoft guns for the past few months as ive not been paid enough to have one in a while. i have been wondering how accurate the fps figures for the guns are and how the FPS limits work at rift airsoft. if i buy a gun and it goes over the fps limit by 1 or 2 FPS randomly during the test can i not use that gun or is it an average of all the tests. also how can i test the fps at home so that i know i have the right FPS without spending a large amount of money on a chrono.

thanks for all the help, hope to be back at rift airsoft soon.

As for testing fps at home without a chrono it's basically impossible

Most websites are pretty good with there published fps data and most will downgrade your purchase for you
